Setup steps
Install Pingmerce from Shopify and open it in the admin. Select the Free plan to start. No separate Pingmerce login is required.
Open Settings. Choose Twilio or Meta and enter your own provider credentials. Credentials are masked when displayed and encrypted when stored. Use an approved WhatsApp template with product name and product URL parameters.
In the theme editor, open a product template, select Add block → Apps → Restock Alert Widget (Pingmerce), position the block and save.
Open an out-of-stock product. Enter an international-format WhatsApp number, read the consent text, and check the consent box before submitting.
Open Subscribers in the app to see the request. Analytics summarizes requests and alerts; Privacy requests and Security events provide merchant data controls and access records.
After inventory becomes positive, Shopify sends an inventory webhook, the app queues matching requests, and the scheduled worker sends the approved provider template. A configured, authorized provider account is required for delivery.
